Pashinyan Has Isolated Himself from the Team: 'Hraparak'
Nikol Pashinyan has been isolated for an extended period, not engaging with his team. Even after the local government elections, he did not convene his team to rally them and analyze the events.
The only person who has been in and out of contact with him in recent weeks is Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan. He is hosted at the governmental residence almost every evening and spends several hours alone with Pashinyan. The reasons why it is specifically Rubinyan and what questions they discuss for hours remains unknown to our sources. It is assumed that Rubinyan now secures the connection with Azerbaijan and Turkey, replacing former spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan, but this is merely a hypothesis.
We were informed that in recent weeks, even the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan is not trusted, as there have been reports in the media suggesting that the Russians see him as a candidate for the prime ministerial position, and Russian influence circles in Armenia have been advised to support him.
Last evening, Pashinyan finally met with his teammates; he came to the National Assembly to discuss the situation with the My Step faction.
