David Sedrakyan of the 'Armenia' Alliance Resigns from Parliamentary Mandate
According to reports from Aravot.am, David Sedrakyan, a member of the 'Armenia' alliance, has submitted a resignation letter to relinquish his parliamentary mandate. It is noteworthy that David Sedrakyan is the son of former Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) deputy Mher Sedrakyan. Efforts to confirm this information with Mher Sedrakyan were unsuccessful as he did not respond to our calls.
However, opposition faction member Agnesa Hamoyan confirmed the news in our conversation. When asked about the reasons behind the resignation, she only stated, “For purely personal reasons.” It remains unclear who will replace David Sedrakyan; next on the alliance's electoral list is Arush Arushanyan, the elected mayor of Goris.
