47 Deaths Reported: Updated Data on COVID-19

As of October 22 at 11:00 AM, a total of 291,052 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which 258,486 have recovered and 5,944 resulted in death. Currently, there are 25,374 patients receiving treatment for COVID-19.

In total, 1,958,792 tests have been conducted. Yesterday, 18,598 tests were performed, resulting in 2,146 new COVID-19 cases. We have 1,134 recoveries and 42 new deaths.

Additionally, the previous day recorded 5 deaths where the patient had a COVID-19 infection, but the death was attributed to another illness. The overall number of such cases is 1,248.
