Turkey Arrests 15 Alleged Israeli Spies
Turkish security forces have arrested 15 individuals suspected of working for the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, according to CNN Turk, citing sources within Turkish law enforcement.
The operation involved 200 members of Turkey's national intelligence organization and was conducted across four provinces, the network reports. Among those arrested are individuals of Arab descent.
It has been noted that the alleged spies sent information to Mossad about Turkish and foreign students who may occupy important positions in the defense industry in the future. The surveillance of the suspects, who worked for Mossad for financial compensation, lasted approximately one year, the channel reports.
