Police Conduct Special Operation in Yerevan, Followed Stealthily by Police Chief
Police have been conducting intensified operations for over 2 hours in the Nor Nork administrative district of Yerevan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, officers are stopping vehicles, approaching the drivers, and requesting their driver’s licenses and vehicle registration documents.
During this short time, several drivers were identified for operating vehicles without having their driving licenses on them. The photojournalist also reports the discovery of weapons and batons. All lawbreaking drivers were subjected to administrative liability by the patrol officers of the Yerevan police department.
It is noted that Yerevan Police Chief Colonel Sevan Kocharyan was secretly following the police operation.
