November 3 will be hot: top officials to attend parliament

According to the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, the authorities aim to ensure that top government officials present themselves in parliament during the discussions of the 2022 state budget draft and respond to lawmakers’ questions.

Currently, efforts are underway to make sure that all top officials are in Armenia and present in parliament on those days. This particularly concerns the discussions scheduled for November 3, when representatives from the law enforcement agencies are expected to come to parliament and participate in the session of the State-Legal Committee.

On that day, the head of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Sasun Khachatryan, the head of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan, and National Security Service Director Armen Abazyan are all expected to attend.

It should be noted that this day marks one of the hottest days of budget discussions, with Central Electoral Commission Chair Tigran Mukuchyan, Commander of the Patrol Service Tigran Ulikhanyan, and others also expected to attend parliament.

Until now, top officials have rarely attended parliament; however, new appointments such as Armen Abazyan and Argishti Kyaramyan have raised expectations. All, including members of opposition factions, are eagerly waiting for these officials to appear in parliament.
