Moscow Goes into Lockdown: What Restrictions Will Be Imposed
Moscow is set to enter a lockdown starting next week. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has declared non-working days from October 28 to November 7. He announced that during these non-working days, all enterprises in the city must cease operations, with the exception of businesses that ensure the functioning of infrastructure.
All non-food stores will close, except for pharmacies and shops selling essential goods. All cafes and restaurants will also close, although food can be ordered for delivery. Additionally, businesses providing services to the public, such as beauty salons, gyms, and pools, will be shut down. Dental clinics will cease operations as well, except for emergency cases. Cinemas, museums, concert halls, and circuses will close. Visits to theaters and museums will only be allowed with QR codes.
