Mazda and Opel Collide in Yerevan, One of Three Injured Extricated Using Special Equipment
On October 20, a significant car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 8:00 PM, a collision took place at the intersection of A. Mikoyan and Minsk streets between a Mazda vehicle driven by 44-year-old Eduard Vardanyan and an Opel car driven by 62-year-old Norik Ghalachyan, both residents of Yerevan.
According to reports from shamshyan.com, both drivers were transported to number 1 university hospital, while a passenger in the Mazda, 17-year-old David Chingilyan, was taken to the Holy Astvatsamayr Medical Center. One of the injured was extricated from the vehicle by rescuers using specialized equipment.
The emergency medical team from Yerevan's 1-03 service arrived on the scene and provided first aid to the injured before their transportation to the hospital. Investigations are underway regarding the incident.
