Major Car Accident Near Parakar's Gas Post: BMW Crashes into Tree and Later into Concrete Barrier and Nissan

Yesterday, on October 20, a serious car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 19:10, a BMW driven by 31-year-old Gevorg Mkhitaryan collided with a Nissan Altima driven by 26-year-old Arthur Poghosyan near the well-known gas post in Parakar along the Yerevan-Ararat highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person was taken to Astghik Medical Center. Rescue workers from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Fire and Rescue Unit No. 1 swiftly extricated the individual from the vehicle with the assistance of bystanders.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. Firefighters disconnected the vehicles' power supply, secured the gas cylinders, and cordoned off the area. Preliminary information suggests that the BMW veered off the roadway under unknown circumstances, crashed into a tree, and subsequently collided with a concrete barrier and the Nissan.
