Security Guard Breaks 13-Year-Old Boy's Spine at 'Pyaterochka' in Novosibirsk
A security guard at the 'Pyaterochka' store in Novosibirsk, Russia, has broken the spine of a 13-year-old boy, as reported by RT.
According to local media, the boy's mother said that her son went to the store to buy a carbonated drink. When he couldn't find what he was looking for, he left for another store. After failing to find the item there as well, he returned to 'Pyaterochka.'
The guard suspected the teenager was attempting to steal something and approached him. "He started insulting him, grabbed his clothes, and pressed his hands, after which the man struck the boy in the back with his hand," the local Investigative Committee described what happened after the boy entered the store.
It was revealed that the teenager had previously suffered a compression fracture of the thoracic vertebrae in May, and the guard's blow struck directly at the site of the injury. The boy is currently in the hospital. The guard has been dismissed from his job.
