Driver in his 30s Crashes BMW into Tree, Concrete Barrier, and Nissan in Parakar; One Injured

On October 20, a significant traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 19:10, a BMW driven by 31-year-old Gevorg Mkrtchyan collided with a Nissan Altima driven by 26-year-old Arthur Poghosyan near the well-known Parakar ‘post’ on the Yerevan-Ararat highway.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person was transported to the Astghik Medical Center. Emergency responders arrived quickly and, with the help of bystanders, extricated the individual from the vehicle.

Materials are being prepared on the incident by officer V. Baghdasaryan. Representatives from insurance companies also arrived on-site promptly. Firefighters disconnected the vehicles from the power supply, sealed the gas tanks, and cordoned off the area.

Preliminary information suggests that the BMW left the roadway under unclear circumstances, collided with a tree, and then crashed into a concrete barrier and the Nissan.
