Aliyev: "We will try to start the resettlement of Azerbaijanis in Kovsakan at the beginning of next year, or perhaps at the end of this year"

A new phase is beginning for Kovsakan, as the city's master plan is currently being prepared. An overseas company has won the competition, and I believe the master plan will be presented in the coming months.

This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on October 20 in Kovsakan. Aliyev noted that given the natural beauty of the area, a very beautiful city will be constructed.

“Some buildings are already ready, and we will try to start the resettlement of the residents (the Azerbaijanis) in Kovsakan at the beginning of next year, or perhaps at the end of this year,” he said.
