A Few Months Left for Tatoyan: Armen Grigoryan Criticizes Armenia's Human Rights Defender
The Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, criticized Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan in an interview with Rusarminfo, stating that he has never seen an impartial statement from him. 'The Human Rights Defender makes political statements that are later refuted by the defense or other ministries. Clearly, he has submitted his candidacy in the opposition field and represents a position against the revolution,' said Grigoryan.
He reminded that Arman Tatoyan, who assumed office on February 23, 2016, has only a few months left in his tenure. 'The Civil Contract party will present its candidate for the head of the Human Rights Defender's office at that time,' the Security Council Secretary noted. It is important to mention that Tatoyan's term is set to end on February 23, 2022.
