37 People Die from Coronavirus in Armenia in One Day, Cases Increase

As of October 21, 2021, Armenia has reported 2,603 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 288,906. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, 32 citizens have died within one day due to the coronavirus, raising the total death toll to 5,902.

In addition, there have been 5 reported deaths of patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses in the past day. As of October 21, the total number of these death cases is 1,243. In total, 37 people died yesterday. The overall death toll has now reached 7,145.

In the past day, 827 individuals have recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 257,352, with 24,409 currently undergoing treatment. A total of 14,928 tests were conducted in one day, resulting in 1,940,194 tests conducted overall to date.
