VIDEO: Scene of Passenger 'GAZEL' Accident

At the Kakavadzor junction, the number of injured from the tragic accident involving a passenger 'GAZEL' that claimed the lives of 5 people has reached 10. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that today, October 20, at 07:04, they received a notification at the regional crisis management center of Aragatsotn that an accident occurred at the Kakavadzor village junction, with casualties reported.

A firefighting unit from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a 'GAZel' passenger vehicle had veered off the main roadway and overturned on the 50th km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. As a result of the accident, there are 5 dead and 10 injured, 7 of whom have been hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center. The remaining 3 injured were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center, where their health status was assessed as satisfactory.

Rescue workers approached the bodies and moved them to ambulances, cut off the power to the vehicle, closed the gas cylinder valve, and carried out road cleaning operations.
