VIDEO: LGBT Community Representatives Protest Outside Netflix Office

A protest is currently taking place outside the Netflix office in California, USA, as reported by RT. The participants in the protest include employees of the company who represent the LGBT community.

The demonstration began after Netflix refused to remove a segment from comedian Dave Chappelle’s show, in which he states that gender is a fact and that transgender women are not women. The director of content at Netflix clarified that there was no reason to remove the show, as the joke was not intended to be offensive.

However, the protesters have stated that they will walk out of their jobs tomorrow if Netflix does not meet their demands. Additionally, they seek not only the removal of the show but also the appointment of representatives from the LGBT community to leadership positions.
