Alec Baldwin Accidentally Kills Operator and Injures Another During Film Shooting
Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin was involved in an on-set incident during the filming of the movie 'Rust' that resulted in one person dead and another injured. This was reported by TMZ.
The incident occurred in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, where Baldwin was filming a new western. At the moment when the actors were supposed to fire gunshots, it was discovered that the weapon was loaded with live rounds.
The bullets struck two individuals: the film's director and the cinematographer. The cinematographer sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later died. Baldwin, who was on camera at the time of the incident, was not injured.
It is still unclear why the weapon was loaded with live ammunition instead of blank cartridges. The sheriff's department is currently investigating the scene, and film production has been temporarily halted.
