State Service Vehicles to be Replaced by Electric Cars

The gradual transition to the operation of electric vehicles will be implemented. This was announced by the Ministry of Environment. Since 2018, and up to now, the Prime Minister's Office, the National Assembly, and ministries have jointly reduced 172 vehicles.

To reduce the maintenance, operation, and fuel costs of vehicles, a gradual transition to the operation of electric vehicles will be made. With the support of the Global Environmental Facility, the Ministry of Environment plans to replace the service vehicles of state structures with electric ones.

The total budget for the project is approximately $5.4 million, of which $4.5 million is planned to be invested by the government in the form of tax and customs privileges.

As part of the project, 12 electric motor vehicles will also be purchased for government needs, and two electric charging stations for electric vehicles will be constructed.
