Putin-Biden Meeting Likely This Year: Peskov
The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, in one form or another, is quite likely to take place this year, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.
"I reiterate that during the recent meeting between Nuland and Ushakov, various options were discussed, and certain understandings were established. Once these are clarified in terms of format and timing, we will inform you," Peskov told reporters in response to a question about the likelihood of a Putin-Biden meeting.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin had also mentioned that discussions regarding further communications between the Russian and American presidents were being developed within the framework of Nuland's visit, during the events of the "Russian Energy Week."
