Iran’s Representative at the UN Calls on Israel to refrain from Military Adventurism
The Permanent Representative of Iran to the UN, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, has urged Israel to refrain from any erroneous actions or manifestations of military adventurism against Iran.
According to the Mehr news agency, in a letter addressed to the UN Security Council meeting, the official stated, "I am writing to inform you of yet another threat posed by the Israeli regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its peaceful nuclear program."
The source notes that one such threat was voiced by the Chief of Staff of the Israeli regime's Armed Forces, who said, "Actions against Iran's nuclear program will continue to be carried out, and operations aimed at destroying Iran's capabilities will take place in various regions and at any time."
The Iranian representative at the UN warned Israel to abstain from any possible adventurism directed against Iran's nuclear program, including military actions. He also emphasized that "Iran reserves the right to defend itself and respond decisively to any threats or erroneous actions from Israel."
