Armenian Delegation Prepares to Support Azerbaijani Hajiyev’s Candidacy, MP Says

Member of the Armenian National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction, Zemfira Mirzoeva, has refused to participate in the session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly for Youth taking place in Saint Petersburg, Russia. This was reported by Yerevan.today.

"Yes, your information is accurate. The reason for my non-participation is very simple: there was going to be an election for the assembly's coordinator, who is the Azerbaijani representative Hajiyev, and, by the way, according to the information I received, our delegation is preparing to vote in favor. For me, this is unacceptable, and I cannot imagine how one can vote for a representative of a state that has committed atrocities against my two peoples," the MP stated in an interview with the source.
