Tatev-Aghvani Road to Be Completed in November, but Some Sections Will Have Two Layers of Asphalt: Sanosyan

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, spoke with reporters today about whether the construction of the Tatev-Aghvani road will be completed in November, as promised by the government.

“Construction is in progress, and work is nearly around the clock. Yes, we will complete it within that timeframe,” Sanosyan stated.

He noted, however, that instead of a three-layer asphalt surface, some sections of the road will be paved with two layers of asphalt. “Even if deficiencies emerge later, we will address those issues before placing the third layer, the final coat. However, the two layers are entirely sufficient for the road to be passable normally,” he said.
