Special Investigative Service Initiates Criminal Case Against Arush Arushanyan's Father
The Special Investigative Service of Armenia has initiated a criminal case regarding the bribery of voters ahead of the local self-governance elections in the Goris community. This was reported by the Special Investigative Service (SIS) to Factinfo.
The criminal case involves Arush Arushanyan's father, Gagik Arushanyan. It is worth noting that Arushanyan's lawyer, Armen Melkonyan, announced on October 17 that a criminal case had been opened in the organized crime department of the police, according to which Gagik Arushanyan distributed bribes on October 16, 2021. Based on these grounds, the court granted permission for a search to be conducted in the headquarters on the day of the election.
