Russia to Invest $1 Billion in Armenia

Russia is planning to invest $1 billion in the Armenian economy in the near future, as stated by Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, during the 8th Armenian-Russian Conference.

According to him, this will be a significant investment in the development of economic, social, and cultural relations between Armenia and Russia, as well as in the creation of new technological jobs, as reported by TASS.

“In the coming years, Russian companies are expected to invest more than $1 billion in the Armenian economy, and it is important to note that a significant portion of them are the largest taxpayers in Armenia,” said Reshetnikov during the 8th Armenian-Russian Interregional Conference.

He also emphasized that Russian businesses can offer the most effective solutions in the fields of transportation, energy, and social infrastructure.
