Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Mercedes Collide Near Lake Yerevan, Injuries Reported

Today, on October 19, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:50 PM, two Mercedes vehicles collided near Lake Yerevan, specifically a Mercedes E240 driven by 29-year-old Arthur Hakobyan and a Mercedes C350 operated by 37-year-old Hovhannes Kirakosyan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the accident resulted in two individuals being hospitalized with bodily injuries.

The police in Yerevan have reported the incident to the division responsible for investigating traffic accidents and administrative processes, leading to the arrival of a duty team headed by Division Chief Grigor Avetisyan and Senior Investigator Khachatour Ginosyan.

Investigation materials are being prepared by Kh. Ginosyan regarding the incident. Representatives from insurance companies also arrived promptly on the scene.
