Defense Ministry Finds My Visit to the Frontline Inadvisable: Abrahamyan

Member of the National Assembly's "We Have Honor" faction Tigran Abrahamyan has written on his Facebook page: "The Defense Minister has responded to my letter addressed to the Chief of General Staff, indicating that he considers my visit to the frontline inadvisable. I do not know what the Chief of General Staff is engaged in, apart from demonstrating incapacity, weakness, and an inappropriate attitude for his official position, but a spokesperson has responded on his behalf. This suggests that they have decided to block the entry of the representative of the Parliament's Defense and Security Committee into the frontline in order to conceal their disgraceful activities and inappropriate stance towards their duties. This means that the situation in the border area is such that documenting it on-site could cause problems not only for these two individuals but also for their political leader.

Furthermore, as a "solution," the Chief of General Staff first violates the law by not responding to the MP's letter within the stipulated timeframe, and later, the Minister of Defense reacts by stating that my visit to the frontline is not advisable. Moreover, the Deputy Minister of Defense was present in Parliament today, who, apart from the draft he presented, inadequately answered any questions related to his area. This reflects the state of the country, the attitudes of the security block's leaders, and their irresponsible stance towards the existing threats facing the country."
