When Authorities Fail to Utilize the Military Factor in Elections, We Get a Different Picture: MP

The residents of Goris rejected the steel hammer reality that was imposed on them by the current authorities. This was stated by Argenaz Manukyan, an MP from the ‘Armenia’ faction, during a press conference addressing the results of the local self-government elections in Goris.

Argenaz Manukyan noted that the people of Goris rejected lies, deception, and the authorities that brought about war and defeat, opting for a dignified future. "In cases where authorities fail to use the military factor in elections and voting, and when they cannot implement passport identification measures, we get a completely different picture. We have presented these electoral violations to the Constitutional Court and have reasonable suspicions that these violations have allowed authorities to present a different picture in Goris, Syunik, and other settlements," stated Argenaz Manukyan.

The MP urged other settlements to carry out a dignified election and not to succumb to threats and pressure. He noted that there is also an element of distrust towards the authorities, and people are beginning to understand the future they have chosen for themselves when they cast their votes for the third ballot during the snap parliamentary elections. "A very short time later, they reject the bleak future they had chosen," said Argenaz Manukyan.
