Vano Siradeghyan's Remains to Be Transferred to Armenia
The remains of Vano Siradeghyan, a prominent Armenian statesman, one of the founders of the Third Republic of Armenia, a member of the “Karabakh” committee, former Minister of Internal Affairs, former Mayor of Yerevan, writer, and publicist, will be transferred to Armenia. This was announced to ‘Hraparak’ by Vano Siradeghyan's wife, Rouzan Tonoyan.
“But at this moment, I cannot say anything specific; nothing is clear. You will know later,” said the writer’s wife, without providing further details. This includes whether she agrees with the Armenian National Congress’s proposal for Vano Siradeghyan to be buried at the Komitas Pantheon.
Writer Tigran Paskevichyan also made a similar suggestion, stating: “Vano is gone… It’s a pity… The absence of Vano, forgive me his relatives, is a judgment on this government. Vano should be buried in the Komitas Pantheon.
