Today, 260 Vehicles Were Inspected: 58 Violations Found
The Inspection Body of Construction, Technical, and Fire Safety of the Republic of Armenia carried out an inspection on October 18 in three administrative districts of the capital. Early in the morning, 9 inspection teams operated in Kentron, with 4 teams each in Avan and Nor Nork.
Specialists from the Department of Transport Safety of the Inspection Body, in collaboration with the Patrol Service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, examined 260 vehicles involved in passenger transport, including taxis, in Kentron, Avan, and Nor Nork. As a result of the inspection, the Inspection Body found 58 violations. Protocols were drawn up against passenger transport companies and their passengers for administrative offenses.
As previously mentioned, 2 vehicles were transported to the special designated area of the Police of the Republic of Armenia due to the expiration of their temporary registration certificates.
The Inspection Body will continue to enforce strict monitoring of compliance with anti-epidemic rules in public transport throughout the day in the above-mentioned administrative districts.
