Governor Promises Soldiers Will Sleep in Cabins, Not Tents Soon: Gegharkunik Governor

In the near future, all our positions will have cabins where servicemen will have proper accommodations. This was stated today by the Governor of Gegharkunik, Karen Sargsyan, during a conversation with journalists, adding that the issue of cabins will be resolved in about a month.

According to the governor, 80% of the accommodation problems have already been resolved.

The governor assured that in the parts of Gegharkunik where Azerbaijanis have advanced, no fortification works are being conducted. 'I spoke today with the commander of the corps, who told me that this is not happening; in the areas where Azerbaijanis have advanced and penetrated our territory, fortification works are not being carried out there,' he stated.

Let us remind you that earlier, Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan had made a statement today warning that Azerbaijani armed forces that infiltrated the Gegharkunik region have built large bunkers and accumulated significant amounts of firewood, as well as paved the roads leading to their positions with concrete.
