Earthquake Near Azerbaijan-Georgia Border Felt in Tavush

On October 18, at 14:49 local time (10:49 GMT), a seismic event was recorded by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Seismic Protection Territorial Service. The earthquake occurred at geographical coordinates 41.22° N latitude and 45.67° E longitude, situated in the border area between Azerbaijan and Georgia, approximately 30 km northeast of the town of Kazakh, at a depth of 10 km with a magnitude of 3.2.

The intensity of the underground shaking in the epicentral area reached 4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in various towns within Armenia, including Ijevan, Berd, and Noyemberyan in Tavush Province with an intensity of 2, as well as in the village of Shnogh in Lori Province, where it was felt with an intensity of 2-3.
