Azerbaijan Will Respond Adequately to Every Positive Step by Armenia, Bayramov

Azerbaijan is in favor of the gradual normalization of relations with Armenia in the post-conflict period based on international law. Azerbaijan will respond adequately to every positive step taken by Armenia regarding border delimitation and demarcation issues.

This was stated by the country’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a meeting with his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, according to TASS.

“It is extremely important to start the processes of delimitation and demarcation of the state borders of the two countries as soon as possible and to resolve these issues. Azerbaijan is carefully monitoring the developments in this area. And here everyone can be assured that every positive step from the other side will receive an adequate response from us, and positive actions will be undertaken on our part,” said the Azerbaijani minister.
