Police Special Forces Conduct Raid at 'Arush Arushanyan' Alliance Headquarters in Goris
The police special forces are currently at the headquarters of the 'Arush Arushanyan' alliance in Goris. They have also summoned the father of the mayoral candidate, Gagik Arushanyan.
In a conversation with reporters, Goris Deputy Mayor Menua Hovsepyan stated that it is still unclear what the law enforcement agencies aim to achieve by entering the headquarters, while the other deputy mayor, Irina Yolyan, confirmed that a raid is indeed underway.
She also mentioned that numerous reports of electoral violations have been received today. 'Specifically, there have been reports regarding the distribution of bribes in the Tegh community, but as we can see, the police task force has been dispatched to Goris specifically to act against this alliance,' she stated.
According to Yolyan, there are crowding and guidance issues at all polling stations, and instances of double voting have been observed, but the police do not seem to be interested in these matters.
It is noteworthy that the 'Arush Arushanyan' alliance, the 'Armenian National Congress', and the 'Civil Contract' party are participating in the local government elections in Goris.
