Village Head of Harav on Gunfire Towards the Community
On the midnight of October 14, the enemy opened fire towards the positions located near the village of Harav in the Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh.
In an interview with 168.am, Harav’s village head Andraniq Ghazaryan stated that the shots were directed at the positions, and the enemy fired towards the Armenian positions. “Fortunately, the gunfire did not hit the village, and we have no damages. The situation is normal at the moment, and people are going about their lives. I cannot say what the enemy aims to achieve with these provocative actions, but I can say that this is not normal for the people; it is an unpleasant phenomenon. These people cannot live under such heightened tensions every day,” Ghazaryan noted.
According to him, the gunfire has not caused panic among the residents, but it is also not a usual occurrence. “This is the first time in the past year that the enemy has fired with such intensity; this should not happen. Our people have the right to live in peace,” the village head of Harav concluded.
