People Wait About a Working Day to Get Tested, Infected in Queue: Karen Hekimyan
Karen Hekimyan, the president of the Human Rights Defender NGO, wrote on his Facebook page:
“There are huge queues everywhere for testing! There are even traffic jams near such laboratories. It turns out that a person has to wait about a working day to get tested. In addition, several more hours are needed to obtain the paper version of the test. Since the tests have to be submitted at workplaces once every two weeks, it results in an employee being absent from work for about four working days in a month. Not to mention the high likelihood of getting infected in queues, getting stressed, and harming our health in other ways.
Who needs all this? The answer is simple: only the organizations conducting the tests and their real owners, who are making money out of thin air. There is no other explanation.”
