How Employers Should Maintain Employee Records for Testing or Vaccination

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention announces regarding the management of records: “To reduce the risk of the spread of the coronavirus disease, in accordance with the sanitary rules applied in the organization of work in the Republic of Armenia, records on personnel’s coronavirus disease (COVID-19) diagnostic PCR tests and vaccination status against COVID-19, as well as medical contraindications, can be maintained both in paper and electronic formats since there is no specific requirement mentioned in the current legal acts.

It should be noted that a negative result certificate of the polymerase chain reaction test for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with a maximum age of 72 hours is recorded in the register, and a copy is kept, while the vaccination certificate is recorded in the register and attached to the employee’s personal file. At the same time, it should be added that the requirement for maintaining the register of temperature measurement results of personnel has been deemed invalid.
