Aliyev Made Two Important Statements: Haik Martirosyan
Political scientist Haik Martirosyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“At the online summit of the CIS, Ilham Aliyev made two important statements. A. According to him, Armenia and Iran have jointly engaged in drug trafficking. He also mentioned the 'infiltration of terrorists'. In almost all the crimes he attributed to Armenia, Aliyev also blamed Iran as an accomplice.
B. He stated once again that Armenian prisoners of war are not prisoners of war for him, but rather saboteurs. Therefore, they are not protected by international law.
After Aliyev, the Armenian representative who spoke did not make any accusations against Azerbaijan. There was no response to the enemy whatsoever. No mention that Armenia did not commit any of the crimes stated by the enemy leader. No mention that it is the enemy that has occupied our country, committed war crimes, and no words stating that Armenia and Iran have not made any deals. Only justification that the law enforcement bodies of Armenia and Iran are cooperating in the fight against drug trafficking.
The representative also announced that Armenia is ready to transfer minefield maps to Azerbaijan. He also insisted that Armenia supposedly wants to carry out immediate demarcation and delimitation, which benefits Azerbaijan alone.
He read the text that had been prepared and given to him by his assistants. With a disgraceful pronunciation, voice, and provincial speech, the representative only demanded, and from whom we do not know, to open the communications and roads. Again, this is something that primarily benefits only the enemy.
It was terrifying to assert that Armenia is moving towards 'normalization' of relations with Turkey. The representative informed that Russian President Vladimir Putin plays a role in this matter. The most frightening statement was about the declaration of a peace agreement. This is something that not only benefits Azerbaijan but will also officially signify the end for Armenia.
This is the face of this regime. This is the agenda of this regime.”
