Prosecutor's Office Sends Footage of Police Violence to Special Investigation Service

The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has sent footage depicting police violence to the Special Investigation Service.

“It is being forwarded to the Special Investigation Service of Armenia in accordance with Articles 180 and 181 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia to prepare materials, clarify the circumstances visible in the video, as well as to determine the legality and proportionality of the actions of the police, and to provide legal assessments,” stated Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General.
