KP Members Working Day and Night in Gyumri: Instructions from Pashinyan
According to the newspaper “Joghourt,” the authorities have concentrated all their resources in the city of Gyumri, where local self-government elections will be held on October 17. The ruling party's candidate is Hovhannes Harutyunyan, the former governor of Shirak.
During these days, several members of the ruling party, particularly the deputies from the Shirak region, are in Gyumri around the clock. With only a few days left until the elections, they have decided not to return to Yerevan but to conduct campaigning from morning until night, meeting people and making promises.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is overseeing this entire process. The win in this election is crucial for the authorities as it serves as a guarantee for victories in other communities as well. This is why Pashinyan personally decides who should handle the campaigning and what they should do. During these days, the ruling party members are present at both closed and open meetings with Hovhannes Harutyunyan,” the article states.
