Is a 'Personnel Purge' Occurring at the SFS? A Question for Badasyan

“A ‘personnel purge’ is not taking place at the SFS, but rather a normal staffing policy,” said the head of the State Revenue Committee (SFS), Rustam Badasyan, in response to reports about significant personnel changes and dismissals of department heads within the organization.

Badasyan characterized the “normal staffing policy” as a natural process for any governmental body. “We prioritize promotions for employees who have the corresponding potential and have demonstrated themselves as professional personnel. All other changes are a natural phenomenon. This means there are relocations of department heads, new appointments, and most of them are from within the system,” said Rustam Badasyan.

Regarding the dismissal of the SFS’s first deputy, Rafik Mashadyan, Badasyan stated that clarifications had already been provided and he has nothing more to add.
