Candidate for the Mayor from the Civil Contract Party Suffers a Heart Attack

David Ghulunts, the candidate for the mayor from the Civil Contract party in the Tegh community of Siunik province, has recently suffered a heart attack and has been hospitalized. He is the nephew of governor Melikset Poghosyan, who is currently bearing the entire burden of the campaign as his uncle.

This was reported by Hraparak. Ghulunts responded to the news outlet in a rather weak voice, asking not to disturb him: "I will be fine, there’s nothing serious," he said, refusing to provide further details on whether he is still in the hospital or has already been discharged.

When asked how he envisions his ongoing campaign, and if it is possible that he might withdraw from the election race, he answered: "We have good feedback, but that’s not for sure... I am participating in the struggle; I will do everything."
