Attempts to Convince Military Personnel to Provide False Testimonies Against Former Authorities: 'Pats'
'Pats' newspaper reports that after the 44-day war of 2020, Nikol Pashinyan and his team have been persistently searching for 'culprits' and 'designating' them to distance themselves from blame and responsibility.
It is clear that the members of the ruling party fully understand that after a change of power, the actual reasons for the defeat in the war and the capitulation will be revealed. For this reason, they are trying in every possible way to create fabricated cases during their time in power, making fiery 'accusatory' statements, and shifting the blame particularly onto the military leadership, personnel, and the former authorities.
Specifically, the authorities' plans include presenting the victory of the April 2016 war as a failure of the previous government and holding the same 'former' officials responsible for the disgraceful capitulation during the 44-day war.
According to sources close to the government, no matter how much law enforcement agencies try to convince military personnel to provide false testimonies against representatives of the former authorities, nothing has worked out so far. Even with certain promises, the authorities have not been able to achieve their goals. Moreover, our information indicates that there is a significant wave of discontent among military personnel against all of this.
