A Photo of Pashinyan is Posted in the Office of the Head of State Revenue Committee
“Yes, a photo of the Prime Minister is posted in my office,” said the Head of the State Revenue Committee, Rustam Badasyan, during a conversation with reporters. He noted that this is the new rule, this is the procedure established.
“There are no legislative regulations; it is simply accepted this way now, and this rule is maintained. The government has decided,” he added.
Badasyan also addressed reports of a supposed staff purge within the committee. He stated that the changes are a natural phenomenon. There are reallocations of department heads and new appointments, with the majority coming from within the system.
“There is no staff purge; a regular staffing policy is being implemented, which is natural for any state body. The basis of staffing policy is one principle: we prioritize employees who have the corresponding potential, who have demonstrated themselves as professional staff in the tax and customs systems,” he concluded.
