13-Year-Old Boy Stabs 51-Year-Old Man Following Argument

According to Shamshyan.com, the Malatya police department's investigative division is preparing materials regarding a stabbing incident that occurred in Yerevan on October 9. Around 21:00, a call was made to the Malatya police from the 'Astghik' medical center, reporting that a citizen had been admitted with a diagnosis of a 'stab wound to the anterior wall of the abdomen.'

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, it has been established that the victim is 51-year-old Shahen N., a resident of the Malatya-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan. Police also confirmed that on the same day, around 20:00, during an argument over domestic issues in the yard of building 108 on Andranik Street, Shahen N. was stabbed by 13-year-old Arsen S., a resident of Yerevan.

Officers located the young suspect, who was taken to the Malatya police department, where he provided an explanation of the incident before being released. The Malatya police are taking steps to locate the knife used in the crime.
