Detention of Suspect in the Preparation of 'Kyavarci Rafo's' Murder Revoked
The detention of Sargis Zazyan, accused of preparing the murder of 'Kyavarci Rafo' (Raphael Mardoyan), has been revoked. The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Alexander Azaryan, granted the defense's appeal and lifted the detention order against Zazyan. This was reported by 'Factinfo'.
Recall that a murder occurred on June 2 on Abovyan Street in Yerevan. The target of the hitman was the criminal authority known as Kyavarci Rafo—Raphael Mardoyan—but he managed to evade the attack and board an armored vehicle, while his driver was killed as a result of gunfire.
The investigative body determined the identity of the hitman, who is a foreign national, Alexander Buzmarev, aged 23. He has been declared wanted in connection with the murder.
