A New Batch of Chinese-Made Vaccines Will Soon Arrive in Armenia: Details

A new batch of Chinese-made vaccines will arrive in Armenia in the coming days. This was stated by Romella Abovyan, the head of the Infectious and Non-Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Department of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, during a press conference at the Armenpress press hall.

When asked about the specific timing, which Chinese vaccine it will be, and the quantity of doses, Abovyan did not rush to provide details. She indicated that she cannot give precise timelines but assured that operational work is ongoing daily to ensure that sufficient quantities of vaccines are available in Armenia.

“There was a slight issue regarding the quantity of vaccines, but at this moment, I can say that we absolutely have no problem. I must mention that active discussions are underway regarding the import of the 'Pfizer' vaccine. I believe that an announcement regarding when it will arrive in Armenia will be made soon,” stated Abovyan.

The specialist emphasized that all vaccines are efficient and that the country offers the option to choose the vaccine they wish to take.
