"The answer to my question was received today, but not from Pashinyan". Who responded to the MP and how?
Tigran Abrahamyan writes on his Facebook page: "On September 15, during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly, I asked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to clarify whether he guarantees that within the framework of implementing the provisions of the trilateral statement of November 9, a route for a new road connecting Artsakh to Armenia will not be established, under which the city of Berdzor in the Kashatagh region, as well as the villages of Sus and Agavno, and the villages of Lisagor, Yeghdzahogh, Hin Shen, Mets Shen, Kanach Tala, and the Ten Verst villages in the Shushi region will not fall under the control of Azerbaijan in any capacity."
"That day, Pashinyan avoided giving a clear answer, claiming that he did not have a map at hand, and that he had not made notes regarding the communities I mentioned. Immediately afterwards, on September 24, I formally wrote down the question and sent it to Pashinyan, where the question and specific settlements were clearly formulated. I received a response to my writing today, but not from Pashinyan, rather from Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan, who only noted that 'no negotiations have taken place around the second subparagraph of the sixth point of the November 9 trilateral statement.'"
"Pay attention to the fact that my request was to obtain a guarantee, an assurance that as a result of the implementation of the provisions of the trilateral statement, due to the change of the road connecting the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Artsakh, the cities and villages I listed would not fall under Azerbaijani control in any capacity. However, Nikol Pashinyan does not give such a guarantee, only noting that negotiations have not yet taken place. It turns out that the authorities either have already agreed to the surrender of these territories or part of it, or they lack confidence in being able to conduct effective negotiations regarding these communities to keep them under Armenian control."
