Armenia Lost to Romania, Dropping to 4th Place

In Bucharest, during the qualifying stage for the 2022 World Cup, the Armenian national team lost 0:1 to the Romanian team, causing them to drop to 4th place.

Defenders Varazdat Haroyan and Taron Voskanyan, as well as midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, will miss the next match against North Macedonia in the World Cup 2022 qualifying round. The yellow cards received in the match against Romania led to the disqualification of our players, and they will unfortunately have to miss the game in round 9.

The Armenian national team will host North Macedonia on November 11. The match will take place at the V. Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
