Vaccination or PCR Test Required to Attend Concerts and Restaurants: New Restrictions Planned, Avanesyan
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia is planning to implement new restrictions in the fight against COVID-19. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan stated this in an interview with the Azatutyun radio station.
According to the minister, options being considered include presenting a vaccination document or a negative PCR test result when attending concerts and restaurants. She mentioned that the ministry is currently working on this initiative, stating that 'the preliminary draft will be ready within two weeks.'
The minister also noted that as of October 10, a total of 514,241 vaccinations have been administered in Armenia, with 344,029 citizens receiving the first dose and 170,212 receiving the second dose. Additionally, Anahit Avanesyan did not rule out that the 14-day requirement for presenting a PCR test could be shortened.
