Instead of Mourning Too Soon, It is Better to Roll Up Our Sleeves and Celebrate Victory Together: Saakashvili Issues a Message

The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently in Rustavi No. 12 prison, has issued another message.

Saakashvili's statement was read by his lawyer, Nika Gvaramia, Director of the Mtavari Arkhi television channel.

“Right now, there are elections, and attention should be focused on that... We need to change the country through different methods, including, most importantly, to seize victory in the elections. I will do everything possible, even under hunger strike. We must live until October 30 and instead of mourning too soon for myself, it would probably be better to roll up our sleeves and celebrate victory together,” Saakashvili's message states.
